The “2025 Chungnam TJB Vietnam Business Matching Day”, an annual trade promotion program aimed at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from Chungcheongnam-do Province (Republic of Korea) in expanding into the Vietnamese market, was successfully held in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi in August 2025.

The event brought together 30 outstanding companies from Chungcheongnam-do, representing a wide range of sectors including consumer goods, food and beverages, cosmetics,… Through direct B2B business matching sessions, Korean companies engaged in in-depth discussions with Vietnamese importers, distributors, and business partners, resulting in numerous cooperation agreements and on-site contract signings.

According to official figures, the 2025 event generated a total transaction value of USD 1.66 million, reaffirming the program’s practical effectiveness and its role as an important bridge in promoting bilateral economic and trade cooperation between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea.

Speaking at the event, Governor Kim Tae-heum of Chungcheongnam-do Province met with and encouraged local companies seeking to enter the Vietnamese market. He also emphasized the quality, competitiveness, and sustainable growth potential of Chungnam products to Vietnamese partners and buyers.
