On October 29, the Vietnam – Korea Trade Connection Event was held by the Hwaseong City Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with the Korea International Cooperation Agency, Gyeonggi Province, Korea.

The event was a great success at the Grand Plaza Hotel, with 64 meetings and 4 MOUs signed directly at the event. The above figures demonstrate the potential for trade cooperation between Vietnam and Korea.

Notably, this event also included a project by the Market Exploitation Group, with a total of 5 businesses donating items worth 8.9 million won, equivalent to 160 million VND. The donated items were sent to 8 organizations, including the Da Nang Emergency Center, the Vietnam – Korea Institute of Science and Technology, and were used usefully by the Vietnamese people. This project has become an opportunity not only to expand the import-export market but also to promote people-to-people cooperation and environmental – social & corporate governance (ESG) activities of enterprises between Korea and Vietnam.
